KanKouran’s annual African
dance and drum conference offers attendees a chance to experience the sights
and sounds of West Africa. KanKouran
invites you to become part of its wonderful community. Hundreds of participants from across the country will visit
the nation’s capitol to partake in three days of intense workshops in
traditional African dance and drum, taught by master dancers and drummers from Mali, Senegal,
and Guinea.
This year's concert
production entitled “LEGENDS” is a celebration of the legacy and
artistry of dance’s living legends, Melvin Deal and Chuck Davis.

Class begins promptly at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 26th at 820 South Capitol St, SW, Washington, DC 20001 and admission is $20.00/person . No class cards, student discounts or other regular class payment arrangements will be honored. Children 13 and under are free.
Not only will your $20.00 get you two dyanamic, funfilled, dance to you drop classes, it will also give $5.00 discount to Kuer Khaleyia's African Dance Company fundraiser party, the same evening, Saturday March 26th at the Living Well Center in Baltimore, 2443 N.
